About The University

Tashkent State Medical University (TSMU) was officially established by presidential decree
on April 22, 2025, merging Tashkent Medical Academy, Tashkent Pediatric Medical
Institute, and Tashkent State Dental Institute into a single, unified institution aimed at
elevating medical education standards in Uzbekistan.Located in Tashkent—capital city of
Uzbekistan, TSMU will serve as the premier national institution for medical education and
research. The university is governed by the Ministries of Health and Higher Education
with its main campus in Tashkent and additional branches in Urgench, Fergana, and
Termez (formerly operated under TMA)
