About The University

Namangan State Medical University (NamSU Faculty of Medicine), part of Namangan State
University (NamSU), was founded in 1942 originally as a pedagogical institute. The Faculty
of Medicine was officially launched later to address rising demand for medical education in
the Namangan region.
Located in the Namangan Region of Uzbekistan, NamSU is a public institution operating
under the Ministry of Education and Science and the Ministry of Health. It oversees the
Faculty of Medicine which provides modern medical education aligned with international
standards.
