About The University

Voronezh State Medical University named after N. N. Burdenko, founded in 1930 in
Voronezh, Russia, is one of the country’s oldest and most reputable public medical
institutions. It began offering international medical education in 1992 and has been officially
recognized as a university since 2015. The Faculty of Medicine offers a 6-year MBBS/MD
equivalent program (5 academic years + 1-year internship), with instruction in English and
basic Russian for clinical interactions. The curriculum meets global standards and is aligned
with recognitions by WHO, NMC (India), ECFMG, FAIMER, WFME, and listed in
